Mission Membership Benefits

Mission
The mission of UTWM is to gather like-minded UT students to engage in dialogue around promoting women in the medical field. It is a pre-professional group for these students to network and mentor each other through the pre-medical application process while gaining networking opportunities and female guest-speaker exposure.

- Mentoring and gaining pre-professional advice from experienced students
- Being a part of a program focused on mentoring women in medicine that stretches across all levels & years

- Acquiring possible resume-building opportunities, such as female guest speaker events, mentoring events, volunteer opportunities, USF AMWA guest-speaker lunch attendance, possible women in surgery conference attendance, possible CPR/BLS certification sessions
